These are so cute and comfortable!! I am a runner, so I did buy these for running. I owned a few pairs of these way back when they first came out but switched to more colorful shorts and donated them to my school's cross-country team because they are such awesome shorts. I have just gone up a size from a small to a medium, and I don't like the larger size from the company I usually buy from, but I remembered liking my Flipbelt shorts, so I bought these and a few other pairs from other brands. I wore them yesterday and went for a run. I use a wallet case phone which never fits in built-in pockets, but it fit in both the front open pockets and the back zippered pocket. Flipbelt products have different types of pockets, but you can read about those in the description.I get dressed to run as soon as I get out of bed and have my coffee and relax. At first, I was concerned because they felt a little tight, but it didn't last. They were so comfortable, and I felt so good wearing them that I ended up changing out of the rest of my clothes after my run but putting shorts back on. I can't wait to get more pairs.One leg did ride up a little during my run, but it was never uncomfortable. I wouldn't have noticed at all except that I specifically check for that problem on all running shorts.I highly recommend these.

These fit well and are a great, flattering length for me. The interior brief has enough coverage that they don't ride up, and there's no chafing, even on longer runs. I wish the zipper compartment in the back was a little bit bigger---I prefer my phone at my back, but with my phone case, the back zipper pocket is a little too small. My phone fits fine in the front, it's just not quite as ideal as having it in the back. Aside from that, these shorts are perfect!

I love my flipbelt running shorts! They fit all my gels and phone, nothing falls out. They are light weight and super comfortable.

LOVE THEM!!!! Now, I have enough to keep a constant rotation.

I have worn these shorts multiple times per week for the last three summers in a row. They look as good as they did the day I bought them. I wash and dry as normal.
Has a great phone holder. I would buy a second pair but they're so great I don't need to.

The Flipbelt running shorts are not comparable to the crop leggings and biker style shorts in sizing!

I night both the medium and large to try. I own medium in my other ones. The mediums In these were way too tight in the waist band and still baggy in the shorts area, and the large were humongous and floppy everywhere. It was strange seeing the size difference between two different sizes. One Was way tight and short and the other were so floppy and loose they looked very funny. I had to return both pairs sadly. Maybe the design can be improved so they look more attractive on. Maybe consistent short part and more accurate belt sizing. They don’t fit in the belt like the leggings in medium.

I own and wear a medium in the Flipbelt Capri leggings and 5” tighter shorts. I read the reviews and rating saying they run small, so I bought the large vs medium. That was a mistake. They do not seem to run large. The large on me were huge! I have to return them. The belt, the inner lining, and the short bottoms themselves were huge on me! For me, sizing up is not necessary.

Love the integrated flip belt pockets in the waist band. Easily carry phone, water, keys, etc. on the run. Need more colors! I’m between M-L, size 10, Large fits best

I read the reivews but thought the shorts would be long enough for me, but they were not. Just another inch or two would make them perfect. Maybe you could offer them in different lengths? Except for the length, they would be great.

I’m a mom of 3 so I need all the extra pockets to carry my keys, phone, money and even snacks… these are great for taking my kids to the park, the store, the zoo. I’m also pregnant and the belt is very comfy.

Love it! Perfect for my morning run! So light and comfortable. The fabric feels good. Especially love the belt around my waist which has two pockets at front for my car key and credit/ID/money, and a big packet in the back which is specially designed for my cell phone. I have all I need for the run. Great product!

I love everything flipbelt related. The belt. The bottles. The lights. The wallet. The leggings. Everything but the shorts. It was so short that I felt overexposed. The leg opening was too wide for my legs. 5’3 and 112 lbs and bought a small.

I love running hands free and still having everything I need with me. Bought a pair for my sister and she loves them.

I LOVE these shorts. As I've gotten older, I moved from traditional running shorts to a bike short style, and at first I thought these might be a little shorter and more revealing than I'd like. But they are incredibly flattering--fitting me (5'4", 127 lbs, bought size Medium) -- in such a way that the flared bottom of the shorts meets the widest part of my thighs. they actually make me feel more confident than the bike shorts. WHICH I only bought because they had pockets for my phone! The FlipBelt pockets are amazing. I carry my large-ish iPhone in the front pocket, so I can listen to music and keep connected to work. Sweat rag (yep, it's summer!) in another pocket, and keys in the zippered compartment in the back. I am so good to go!

My only complaint to you, FlipBelt, is that you now need to make these in colors other than black. I for one will buy them! How about a nice blue? :)

I should have bought these sooner. Inseam is a little out of my comfort zone but totally forgot about them once I started running. Pockets are amazing, I am totally comfortable keeping my iPhone in the back pocket and then stashing anything else in the other slots. I am generally a size 10, carrying some extra weight, opted to size up to the large and they fit great.

Very cute, light weight, and holds my phone and snacks securely on runs. Recent 7.5 mike trail run was a huge success. No bouncing phone and shorts stayed in place without any issue.Two year update: these are worn almost daily for runs and HIIT workouts and washed after each year. Two years later and they are still in amazing shape with no fading or stretched out elastic.

I got the size L in black. I am 6'2" female and about 150-160 lbs? The shorts seem to be good quality and pretty much as I expected. I feel like they are priced slightly high and wish they were just a little bit longer.

Love the shorts. Perfect for carrying keys and other items as well as other items and water bottle without moving. Highly recommend for avid runners.

I absolutely love these short. They are so comfortable and convenient with the Flipbelt attached. I love my Flipbelt but sometimes it gets in the way when I am going to the bathroom and with these...no problems at all. I will be getting another pair.

Best running shorts! They run a touch small. I am 5'6", 115 lbs, and wear a small in everything I own. I bought these in a small and they were a touch tight, and i don't want running shorts to feel restrictive. i exchanged for a medium, and they are so comfortable!!!

Been wishing for these a long time and they live up to expectations.
