Customers praised this lightweight, breathable running shirt for exceptional comfort and moisture-wicking. "You barely notice it's on" during workouts. The mesh back provides superior cooling. However, sizing runs small and short—customers recommend sizing up. The shirt excels in hot weather with quick-dry fabric and reflective elements for visibility.

Runs small and short, but well built

This FlipBelt Men's Running Short Sleeve is well built, but runs small and short. It's also has a slim fit cut, which is good to minimize the fabric flapping about when running assuming you get the appropriate size (e.g., size up). I found the length on the short side. The shirt was comfortable to wear and I didn't feel like I had any restriction of motion. The ventilated back with the mesh weave is a great way to stay more cool and have the fabric dry faster. The construction is high quality with clean seams and good attention to detail. Unfortunately, the tag is quite long, stiff, and scratchy. I'll wear it more and if need be, I'll cut it off, but do like seeing the material and wash instructions.

Hi there, thank you for your detailed feedback! We're glad you like the quality and design of the shirt. We appreciate you sharing your experience. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

Barely notice it's on

This running shirt is incredibly lightweight and comfortable. The fabric feels so thin and breathable that I barely notice I am wearing it, even on warm runs. It does a great job moving sweat away and dries quickly once the workout is over. The fit works well for running and allows plenty of freedom of movement without feeling baggy. It has become one of my go to shirts for summer training and longer outdoor workouts. The only small thing is that the material is very thin, so lighter colors can be a little more transparent than expected.

Great and Lightweight

This FlipBelt men’s running short sleeve shirt is a great basic athletic shirt. It feels lightweight, soft, and breathable, which makes it comfortable for running, walking, working out, or just wearing casually. The fit is relaxed without being sloppy, and the material does not feel thick or clingy. The neon lime color is definitely bright, which I actually like for outdoor activity because it makes the shirt more visible. The logo is simple and not oversized, which is also a plus.Things included:1 men’s short sleeve running shirtOverall, this is a solid 5-star shirt. It is comfortable, easy to wear, lightweight, and practical for workouts or everyday use. No drama, no weird fit issues, no unnecessary nonsense. Just a good athletic shirt doing its job.

Bright, lightweight and super breathable!

Genuinely impressed with this shirt. I grabbed the mens neon styling running shirt because I prefer flowy for my workout clothes. If I use this for outdoor running I won't need to worry about people not seeing me—it is bright!! The material is very breathable, I sweat a lot on my workouts and I could barely tell because it was very efficient at drying quickly. I will definitely look at grabbing a few other colors. Would recommend! I am typically a Medium in women's shirts so I grabbed a men's medium in this for a flowy breathable fit.

Great Lightweight Running Shirts for Summer

These running shirts are excellent for summer weather. The fabric is lightweight, thin, and very breathable, which makes them comfortable to wear during runs or other activities in warm conditions.Comfort is definitely a strong point. The material feels nice against the skin, and overall build quality is good. I checked the stitching and everything looks clean with no issues or loose threads. My only minor complaints are sizing and price. The shirts seem to run a little smaller than standard sizing, so you may want to keep that in mind when ordering. Also, the price feels a little on the expensive side for what they are. That said, overall these are very comfortable and well-made running shirts that work great for hot weather.

Ultralight moisture wicking fast drying running short sleeve shirt

The FlipBelt men's polyester men's running short sleeve shirt offers an ultralight and comfortable fit. The material feel is very light mesh type material that helps in keeping you cool and does an great job of soaking up sweat during a run or workout. This shirt feels extremely well made and the material feels good enough that you would want to also use it casually except for one small thing I dealt with that it feels small in length to me. I ordered the shirt in a brown greenish color and has a few highly reflective visible points for road running in low light situations. There have been no signs of construction or material defects after multiple uses and washes. I'm a 5'10" size 35 waist man and after seeing the sizing guide decided to go with L which fits perfectly in volume but a bit short in length. The material also has a bit of a stretchy nature to it. The shirt drys relatively fast. Comes available in a few colors and sizes, the shirt's value is ok the current price.

Very light weight and breathable (race day ready)

This is a neon colored running shirt that is extremely lightweight and smooth. The tiny holes at back plus overall loose fabric material makes it breathable. You almost do not feel you have anything on you. The description says "for man" but it feels more unisex. Neon color is great on darker day workouts though I cannot say this is reflective. The fit is true to size. I think this one would do well on race days when every little gram of extra weight matters. There is no restriction to body movement even at fast paced runs. Although flip belt is known for storage compatible running gears such as belts and belted running singlet shorts, this one has no such option. So make sure you know what you are buying.

Comfortable and light, runs small

I got this shirt primarily to use while playing pickleball and while at the gym for cardio/weights. Overall, it is comfortable to wear and appears well made, making it nice to wear while exercising or playing sports and a shirt that I expect will last a long time. The most noticeable feature to me is how light and thin it is, as intended and described in the product profile. This results in it almost feeling like I’m wearing nothing, having minimal extra weight while providing full unobstructed movement. It feels really nice for how I’m currently using it in the late Spring or indoors (though I wouldn’t expect it to provide much warmth in colder scenarios). The stitching also appears well done and seems to add to the comfort - it’s hard to explain so hopefully the images help more, but the seams are like flatter than normal so complements the feeling noted above where you hardly feel like you’re wearing it.The one exception to the above is the tags on the inside left side. Though I cut them off as best I could, they still noticeably scratch at the skin. This isn’t so unlike other shirts I’ve had, but I wish it were made tagless to avoid this. I’ll be attempting to carefully remove them at the seam to address this.In terms of fit, it sits well along the shoulders and along the neck line, further adding to the comfort. An important note is that it is shorter than the shirts I’m accustomed to, both at the bottom of the shirt near the waist as well as in the arms. Not a big deal though as I don’t notice it while using it. Plus, it appears that I ordered one size too small as I now see the sizing chart which says a 32” waist should get a L. I have a 32 waist (5’10”, 170 pounds) and always wear M so hadn’t checked. Overall, I’m still happy with the sizing but looks like one size larger could have been even better. The back of the shirt is somewhat see through, which I understand is part of the design to maximize air flow. See the attached photos. This would have made me self conscious if it were on the front, but since it’s on the back and is subtle, it doesn’t bother me. I consider it a smart idea and reasonable trade off for the light feel I’ve described, though it’s something that some guys may want to keep in mind.

Lightweight and breathable

Having already tried their tank and loving it, I was eager to try out their short sleeve and it didn't disappoint. From a sizing perspective, M was fine for my 5'8" 160 lb build. The only nitpick I have is that it is a little short, but not so much that I was worried I'd be wearing a crop top. Of course YMMV depending on your torso length. Just like the tank, the seams are pretty much unnoticeable and I didn't have any chafing issues on my run. The raised texture of the fabric tries to keep it off your body for air circulation, but eventually your sweat will weigh it down. Even then it was still easy to strip off, so not really different from any other running shirt. I really liked how lightweight this shirt is and the value for what you get is fantastic, especially compared to the typical Adidas and Nike running tees. I'm looking forward to future offerings from Flipbelt!

Comfortable for runs and forgiving for those still working on that belly.

I’ve been wearing this for both walks and training runs and it has quickly become one of my favorite workout shirts. The fabric is very lightweight and breathable and does a great job moving sweat away once I get a few miles into a run. One thing I immediately noticed is that the fit is relaxed without looking baggy. I still have a slight belly that I’m actively trying to get rid of through running and better eating habits and this shirt hides it better than a lot of athletic shirts that seem determined to highlight every flaw. It drapes nicely instead of clinging to my midsection which makes me feel more comfortable when I’m out on longer runs. I also like the length because it stays put and doesn’t ride up while moving. The material is soft enough that I find myself wearing it even when I’m not exercising and it has held up well through multiple washes without shrinking or losing its shape. The color looks great in person and stands out from the typical black workout shirts that fill most of my closet. Between the comfort breathability fit moisture control durability and flattering cut this has become one of the first shirts I grab when it’s time to lace up my running shoes and head out the door.

Well made & breathable

I got this shirt in size Medium for my husband who is a runner. The front fit him well. The back was a bit baggy around the armpits but that is how the picture from the Amazon listing showed. I guess that it is meant to be loose fitting. The material and stitching quality are excellent. I like that there are side split hems which makes it easier to move. I especially like that the back is made from a lightweight mesh material which is breathable (so important when exercising). I think it’s priced a bit high but I have found that is common for running shirts. Please see my photos

Clean fit for ample movement and no irritation.. BUT, it's shorter length rides up!!

Great color in lichen green (army!) fabric is soft with true moisture wick/quick dry capability- multi direction stretch- no added heat/irritation. One issue, t-shirt runs a tad short.. arm lift with weights overhead exposes the mid drift! (why I deducted x1 star.) Otherwise, the movement is spot on.Large (usual size) for: 32yr male, 5'8", 170lb with athletic physique. Ample room thru body to move without restriction, sleeve mid bicep, great neckline. Only, length feels short! Easy care: machine wash cool/tumble low. Clean reinforced stitching and mesh back fabric to handle workout grind.Unique color with classy logo placement in reflective tape (you're not a walking billboard!) shows solid attention to detail from a committed brand- See up close pics for visual. Hoping this info can help you.. stay safe.

Men’s short sleeve

I purchase this shirt for my husband to work out. The material is extremely soft. It appears to be mesh on the back so it is cooling. My husband heats up quickly and gets hot so he appreciates how cool it felt wearing this shirt. The size fits him width wise, but the length is a little shorter than he would like. It doesn’t show any skin but he likes it longer. The shirt comes is different dark colors that my husband likes and he said he wouldn’t mind having multiple since they are comfortable and cooling to wear.

Boutique materials at a mainstream price

Be forewarned. This will be a gushing review. Yes, it's that good and it is priced unexpectedly low for what you get.FlipBelt has decided to enter the running shirt arena. Rather than make a me-too product, it looks like they took their time to aim high and it shows. This is a class leading shirt at a price that belies its quality. The highlight is the materials used. I’ve seen these fabrics before on a running shirt from a British boutique running brand - I paid dearly for it two years ago. The photos show close-ups of the fabrics used in this FlipBelt shirt, with the grid being the fabric for the front and sleeves, and the diamond mesh pattern used for the back. Both are very soft to the touch with a medium to above-average stretch. The front fabric has an almost 3D grid pattern, with threads that touch the skin and others elevated above, making for a soft and airy feel. This excellent feeling fabric is exceeded by the fabric used on the back which has an even more porous diamond mesh pattern also with a 3D depth to the fabric consisting of a base diamond foundation holding up a whisper thin fabric above the skin - my back has never felt cooler. Note that the fabric is somewhat see-through - no doubt that is why it is used only at the back. The seams are all smooth and flat. It doesn’t use the more typical wider flat-lock stitching, but instead uses a tighter stitch that lays flat with fewer threads - fewer threads equals less potential for chafing. The length of the shirt is average. Some shirts are long enough to cover the crotch area (useful for those who wear running tights and need modesty) while others are short enough to just hit the top hip bone - these FlipBelt shirts are in between those extremes.I took this on a 7 mile run and it was everything I expected. I stayed cool and dry. When wind is at the back, the porosity of the rear fabric is obvious and it feels like wearing nothing at the rear. There was not a single seam or rough edge that I could feel.I mentioned that this feels very similar to a boutique brand shirt and that is a perfect summary of this shirt. Just a couple of years ago, these fabrics were limited to brands that charge over $100 for a shirt. What FlipBelt has done is brought that same performance down to a mainstream price. This performance certainly exceeds shirts from the big running shoe brands (of which I have dozens of). This is my new favorite running shirt. My only wish is that they bring more patterns and colors as the existing ones at the time of this review are somewhat conservative and plain.
