Customers praised this rechargeable running light for its exceptional brightness (500 lumens), wide beam, and stable waist-level positioning. Most loved the hands-free design and superior trail visibility compared to headlamps. However, some noted concerns about weight causing bounce, battery life limitations (1.5-3.5 hours on high), and durability issues with charging ports and overheating.

The light is nice and bright and has provided me with much more visibility then my headlamp but does anyone have suggestion on how to stop the bouncing. I had to stash my light the other morning and run in the dark because the bouncing was making all my stuff fall out of the belt.

I enjoy having the light on my waist for running. I like how easy the on/off switch is to find and operate. I think this light will outlast me. The construction is high quality and built to last. It is bright enough to clearly see the trail when I run. I wouldn't take it cross country skiing because when I get in a tuck, my body blocks the beam and because the beam is too wide. It doesn't illuminate more than about 20 feet in front of me. I need to see farther ahead on the downhills. It would be nice at times to be able to see further ahead when I run.

Lights up the trail well. Great to have on these short days of early winter. This will be winter #2, hoping to get many years of use. Thank you

I have not had my running light for more than a year. It was used last fall, but when I tried to charge it after the summer, it would not charge. The charger will not even fit in tightly. It was a great light while it lasted, but disappointed that it was short lived.

Feels heavy in your hand but not noticeable in the belt while running. Bright, even on low, really lights things up! Unless you've got a belly and can put it pointing down, can still blind people. Wish there was a way to turn it off without cycling through the options for races where the route doubles back on itself but otherwise no complaints.

I can't believe it took me this long to switch to a waist light. I run trails in the early morning, and this light is far superior to the headlamp I was using previously. The long shadows allow me to easily navigate the rocks and roots on the trail with confidence. I was concerned about the security of the light in the belt, but this turned out to be no problem at all. The silicone attachment that holds the light fits snugly in the font belt slot, with minimal shifting or bouncing. Because the light casts a wide beam, the vertical oscillation while running is hardly noticeable. I've only used it for hour long runs so far, so I can't speak to the battery life; however, it functions while plugged in. With a battery pack, you could easily use this for ultra distances. Brilliant product.

Ive had a lot of different lights. From headlamps, belt lights. Flipbe light s is th only one i use noe. It so bright. As a person that has some eye issues , especially running in the dark. I absolutely love this light. I told my running buddy about this light and she bought one. I like that its on waist instead of your head. Closer to rhe ground, makes for better lighting up of the street.

This is the best light for running. I have recommended it to so many runners. It’s super bright and people always comment that they can see me when I’m out in the dark mornings.

Very pleased with this waist level light for cross country skiing and fog walking in the dark. Great illumination of trail ahead and no blinding others and bending head forward , excellent product

Love this light!! It keeps my hands free and fully illuminates the path for me. It’s rechargeable too!

It fits perfectly in the flip belt. Super easy to use and gives great light. I oftrn run in a group, so I didn't want something on my head where I may blind my friends inadvertently.

Used this in my October 100 mile run with a backup battery and loved it! Backup battery is priced well, easy to carry and easy to switch out. Light is nice and bright, but you can tell when the battery needs changed because it gets dimmer. Will be recommending it to all my friends.

I have tried lots of different light for running. But this flip belt light is great. It really lights things up in front of me. I was looking for a great light for running bc I my eyes don’t adjust as fast as some people’s bc if an eye disease I have. So running in the dark is harder for me. I couldn’t believe how well this light aluminates what was in front of me. Made it so much nicer to run. In the dark. Thank you flip belt

I absolutely love this light! I love that I don’t have to hold anything in my hands, it doesn’t bounce around, it’s rechargeable so no worries about buying batteries, and it’s plenty bright to be able to see roots, limbs, rocks, uneven sidewalks and trails, but is easily angled so you aren’t blinding other pedestrians or traffic. It’s easy to fit into the belt, but is secure and doesn’t move once it’s in there. It’s a little pricey, but the quality seems to be good and I’m willing to pay more to get something that works well.

I just ran Ragnar Wisconsin Trail. I used this Flip Belt Light along with my regular headlamp. Without this Flip Belt Light - it would have been a total struggle. It was SO foggy, and the trails were super technical with rocks and roots. I had two night runs - and never missed a beat because of this awesome product lighting the way! Many people were tripping and falling. I was able to see clearly the entire way. I was afraid it would bounce around and annoy me, but it didn't (I typically don't like wearing anything around my waist). It feels heavy - but NOT while you are wearing it. Amazing product!

Just completed Wasatch Back RAGNAR using my new FlipBelt Running Light and I can say I found it superior in every way versus a headlamp! The location of the light source away from your face/head creates so much better visibility. No field of glare blindness around my face, no bugs hovering around my eyes, and no blinding my poor teammates when I turn my head towards them to talk. More than bright enough to light my way on isolated paths through the overnight segments. 100% happy with the improvement over headlamps. Enthusiastically recommended!

Best running light EVER!!A little expensive but It’s worth every bit. Swivels to light your way but not blind drivers or others walking near you. Great for night time runs and dog walks!! As summer heats up this will keep me safe and extend my options for when I can run!! I’ve used it for about 3 weeks - about 15 night time run (maybe 15 hours total) and have not needed to recharge it yet. Very please with this product!

Full disclosure: I have only taken this on one run. BUT it was awesome. I was afraid it would feel heavy but once you're running you don't notice it. It doesn't bounce, it's super bright, I love being hands-free and not having something on my head. Every runner needs one of these!!!

I have been waiting for FlipBelt to restock this light and it did not disappoint!! It stays in place in the belt, doesn't jiggle, and makes it easier to see than my headlight during dark runs. I liked it so much I convinced my husband and sister to buy one!

Much to my surprise this light has sown heft to it. Solidly built, comfortable and works as expected. The light is plenty bright enough to both see and be seen. Battery life out of the box is great.

I have been wearing headlamps around my waist for years. They work, but tend to bounce. I love my new flipbelt light. It gives off more light than the two headlamps that I was wearing and doesn't bounce at all. I hardly notice I have it on. I would definitely recommend this product.

I'm amazed at how good this light is. I've never found something that really lights up the road in front of me - until now. I highly recommend it. And the fact that it is rechargeable is such a plus.

F
FlipBelt R.L.

I really like my Flipbelt running light! It fits neatly into a Flipbelt slot, stays secure, and is comfortable. The light can be recharged, which is a really great feature. I run very early in the morning when it's dark, and I have tried using a headlamp and knuckle lights. The headlamp gave me a headache, and I didn't like to have anything attached to my hands. So I was excited to see that Flipbelt had developed a running light! I would highly recommend it.

FlipBelt R.L.

This is the best light belt I have used. I can see ahead of me and be seen. Fits nicely into the Flipbelt. So nice to only wear one belt instead of two (the Flipbelt and a secondary lighted belt).

F
FlipBelt R.L.

Love this light. I was running with a handheld running light but the brightness doesn't even compare to this thing. It is amazingly bright! I'm not sure it lasted 8 hours before I had to charge it again, but it's no issue to charge since it just plugs into my computer. I love it!

F
FlipBelt R.L.

Light works very well. Used it for nearly 3 weeks and recharged it only once. I've used it on medium during my 5:30am runs.

FlipBelt R.L.

Got the light for the FipBelt as the sun is rising later on the early morning runs and I needed light closer to the ground during RAGNAR runs. The light is BRIGHT. You cannot feel it and it doesn't move around. Yes your cell phone or FlipBelt bottle will be on your back but this light is certainly a tool that night/morning runners need.

F
FlipBelt R.L.

Used this light for my 5am runs for about 3 weeks and it works well. Lights up the path in front of me. Only recharged this once so far.

This was bought as a birthday gift for my daughter. She is enjoying and wearing it when she runs in the evening.

Super bright and way more comfortable than a headlamp!
