I regularly run distances from 5k to half marathon. On shorter races, I need to carry my car key fob only while on long ones I carry multiple gels, salt tablets, a collapsible bag of 600 ml water, occasionally my phone (i usually leave it in the car). Not only these shorts look beautiful but they also allow you to carry all these items if not more. I have just run a half marathon with them yesterday and made a PR in these shorts, so they can surely make you run your best, at least don't get in the way to your next PR. I agree with some reviewers stating that the belt mesh may be fragile but they still would hold your driving license and credit cards (stiff items with corners), although maybe not the best with car keys (poky items). One downside is the belt feels too tight on first wearing it which made me question whether this is a compression feature or they just run small. But since I completed a half marathon with them I am more leaning towards compression feature side so I am not knocking any stars. Overall, i loved to run in them!

I personally like the fitted look, but if you’re between sizes or prefer a little extra comfort, you may want to consider sizing up.One of my favorite features is the built-in shorts, which include a convenient side pocket that’s perfect for holding a phone, golf tee, tennis ball, or other small essentials. There’s also an additional pocket in the back waistband, which is a nice bonus for keys or cards.Overall, this is a comfortable, flattering, and practical skort with thoughtful storage options and lightweight performance fabric. I am a distance runner, but I have never run in a skirt or skort before, so I figured I would give this a try. I have owned several flip belts, so I was excited to try this product. The skirt is very lightweight, and breathable. I ordered this in the light green, and the shorts underneath are slightly see-through, but luckily the skirt covers that up. The shorts have pockets on the side, and then of course there are several pockets that run along the waistband. I like the large pocket in the front center of the waistband. It is perfect for holding your phone. Some pockets are open, while there are a couple that are zippered, to keep small things safe. I personally used the zippered pockets for my keys. This skort does feel good to run in, but it will hike up. I tried it out on a 5-mile run, and by the end the shorts were up around the top of my thighs at about a 1-in inseam. Luckily, the skirt does keep in place, so you always have that length of material covering you up. I will say this skirt does run small. I find that this is very common in all flip belt products. I have previously owned a pair of flip belt biking shorts, and they also ran small. I would suggest sizing up on the skirt.Overall, this is a nice quality run skort. The materials are light and breezy. I do love all of the pockets, which allow me to not wear a running belt, or vest. I would just suggest sizing up. I would recommend it.

I really like it. However, I bought it for me but ended-up giving it to my 11 year-old daughter due to sizing.Here are my observations:-The material is high quality. The outer layer is lightly perforated, which will help with breathability.-The colors are vibrant.-The phone pocket on the back is cleverly placed. I’m able to tuck my phone in without issue.-There’s a drawstring inside the waist. The running skirt was tight on me but loose on my daughter. Once she tightened the drawstring, it fit her great.-There are also deep pockets in the shorts underneath—large enough to fit an iPhone.-There’s reflective material, to help with visibility/safety when running or walking at night.In all, I really like these and may need to buy a size or two up so I can also have a pair.

I picked this up as a running skort and the fabric mostly lives up to what it promises. It is lightweight, thin, and very breathable, and it wicks sweat well during a workout. There are actually multiple fabric types going on here, but all of them are thin and feel like quality, and the material has held up durably so far.There is some stretch, but the fit is on the tight side. I'd call the sizing very true, so check the measurements carefully before you order. I have to wear it high waisted, because pulling it down even a little to sit lower than my natural waist gets super tight. It is still wearable like that, just not comfortably, so I'd size up if you want to wear it lower than the natural waist.For carrying a phone, I find the leg pocket more convenient than the waistband. The waist fit is pretty much perfect as is, and with the limited stretch, adding a phone there just creates bulk, while the leg pocket handles it without any of that.At $62 at time of writing it sits at the higher end for a running skort, and the materials feel like they back that up. Between the breathable fabric and the pocket options, it has earned a regular spot for runs.

I have had so many compliments on this FlipBelt Running Skort. I wear it for Pickleball, but its for all kinds of outdoor sports. It is so lightweight and so comfortable. The fabric is the BEST. Its kind of silky and breathable. FlipBelt is one of my favorite brands. The quality of their clothes is very very good. This is very well made and has a lot of really cool hidden features. The little zip pockets come in handy so I can keep stuff on me but remain hands free. Its just an awesome and adorable SKORT. I love it.

I'm not normally a tennis skirt type, but I live in the hot humid part of the world and do vaguely outdoors and athletic-y type things often enough that I figured I'd give this one a try. From the pictures, this skort looks like the fabric is as light as it's physically possible to be and still function as modest body covering, and it is! BUT! They were really clever when engineering this, because the waistband is very well designed and feels the exact amount of sturdiness you'd want to keep your shorts up, looking good, and still holding onto your keys, phone, and whatever else you need as you go for your run. I was almost worried too when pulling them in for the first time that they'd be on the small side, but they sit just perfectly in that snug but not uncomfortable zone. Even when bouncing around with my key fob in the front and my phone in the back, nothing moved or jostled or felt like it's was going to pop out of place. The shorts didn't sag or ride up, and the fit stretched to accommodate the odd angles without pressing in against my skin. The designers were even really clever with ties at the waist, hidden by the belt layers and tucked inside to hide. The shorts alone are very sheer and the skirt alone is too, but together they offer flattering coverage while keeping air flow and breathability at a premium. I'm very impressed with this skort.The only reason for a star off is because I'm a realist and I'm rough on my performance gear. The laser edging on the bottom of the skirt and the superfine mesh of the belt pouches both work amazing to keep this light and sleek, but those features were not build for durability. I can see the hem fraying and my house key snagging that mesh and tearing it up pretty quickly. But then, at this price point, I'm pretty sure they're targeting these to folks who actually plan to look cute and play tennis in this tennis skirt, not gremlins like me who would set out on a cross country jog, promptly get distracted by a weird cool tree, and return home straining the pockets of this with weird rocks I found and wondering if that brown stuff is mud or if I cut myself on something and didn't notice. But the skirt would help the hold more rocks...🤔Overall, very good product. I'm pleased.

When I go on my weekly long run, I need shorts with a lot of pockets for holding snacks, gels, phone and drink. Most of the time I end up with a belt. I decided to try this skirt since it’s the only one with a lot of pocket options.There are pockets built in all around the waist area. I’ve used other shorts from flipbelt that has mesh pockets but this one is a little different. There are mesh pockets all around, but the back also has an open flap on top of the mesh pockets. That means I can store snacks and other items in the first pocket, then the phone in the outer pocket. Since it’s a flap, it is easy to put phone in and take out during a run. I’d like the skirt to be a little shorter but it’s not a deal breaker.The skirt is a little bit on the pricier side. If it was a little cheaper, I’d like it in every color.

Great quality, lovely colors, and I love the storage around the waistband. Ladies, this is a short skirt, and it does run a little small, so consider sizing up for longer skirt and a little more breathing room. I’m 5’7 125lbs and sized up to a medium. I could’ve done fine with a large, too.

These are incredibly nice running Skort’s. Super comfortable, stretchy, cool, and all the things. The material is really nice and they’re made really well. Very high quality. They make a ton of great gear at a really reasonable price. Worth the buy for sure!

I’ve been loving this skirt! It’s super cute and surprisingly practical. The built-in storage is one of my favorite features because I can carry my phone and small essentials without needing an extra bag (my keys and chapstick)The fabric feels comfortable and stretchy, and it stays in place well while walking. I especially love wearing it for walks with my kids because it’s comfortable enough for being active but still looks really cute. Definitely one of those pieces that gets worn way more than expected.

Super adorable. I just wish it fit me. I used the size guide and ordered one size up. Still too small. I wonder if the size guide is actually for adult women or teen girls.Other than that, here is all the positive stuff. The fabric is top quality athleisure fabric. The colors are bold and vibrant. It has a nice size pocket. Elastic stretch waistband. Easy care instructions to wash and dry. It did not shrink. Also thought it was a great value for the price.I’ll get use out of it. I have granddaughters that will fit into this in a few years.

Just got these running shorts, and I couldn't wait to try them out on a run! Honestly, this brand really nailed the design and material selection for running – feels like they were made specifically for it. The first thing that struck me was how incredibly lightweight they are; I barely felt them on. Plus, the breathability is awesome! I didn't feel stuffy at all after my run, which is a huge deal. The waistband and fabric feel super comfy against the skin, no chafing whatsoever. I've always trusted this brand, and this new product just reaffirms their quality. This is definitely an essential for any runner, highly recommend!
